Everside Milestone: Closing Our 10th Investment

July 25, 2018

Everside is pleased to announce that since closing the fund at the end of 2017, the fund has completed and closed ten investments across all of Everside verticals (i. Primary, ii. Secondary, iii. Direct). The fund was oversubscribed and far exceeded its original target size.

Everside is fortunate to have a diverse and distinguished investor base, which includes leading foundations, large global institutional investors and high net worth individuals, as well as some of the most well-known and well-regarded value investor of our time. Moritz Poehl, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Everside

We are eager to grow our portfolio, currently consisting of ten investments, and prudently deploy the fund’s capital in support of compelling, growth-oriented lower middle market companies in attractive, niche industries through our unique, flexible approach. The Everside team is proud that the foundation is now built, establishing Everside as a sophisticated, long-term, and involved value-add partner to Small Business Investment Companies (“SBICs”) and lower middle market companies.

As credit and direct lending have grown, we believe conservatively and thoughtfully capitalized businesses in the U.S. lower middle market will continue to be the most attractive and sustainable asset class to in vest in, especially ten years into an economic recovery. Nate Kirk, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Everside
